Four progress proofs on different papers.

One very rare first state, two in the second state, and one impression seems to be an unrecorded third state with additional hatching on the front of the house on the left.

Total printing: about 6 impressions known.


According to Agnes Ethel Mackay, this landscape was one of Roussel's unfinished plates (Hausberg p. 150). Silver Hill is part of the Hastings district in East Sussex.
